Niang happy with Milan choice

M'Baye Niang is convinced he made the right choice in moving to AC Milan after revealing he turned down a summer switch to Everton.

The young French striker transferred from Caen in August amid interest from the Toffees. And Niang is enjoying life at the San Siro, claiming everyone at the Italian giants is treating him well. The chief task now is to convince Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri that he is worthy of a place in the team.

"Everton wanted me too, but I chose AC Milan and I am convinced of my decision," Niang told Sport Italia. "Here at AC Milan all were kind with me, I'm the youngest and I pay respect to the whole group. "I still have so much to work and convince Allegri and I have to integrate well in Italian football".

The 17-year-old France under-21 international scored five goals in Ligue 1 last season for Caen.
