AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Italian striker Mattia Destro from Roma on a loan deal, with the option of a permanent transfer.
The Italian international joins Milan after scoring five goals in 16 league appearances for Roma this season.
He told the Milan channel: “I am very happy to be here and to be a part of this group. I have already spoken to coach Inzaghi, there is a big desire to do well and to show that Milan are a great side, starting as of this Sunday.”
Destro joins a Milan team who have not won a league game since beating Napoli in December.
The new striker hopes to be featured in the game against Parma, as the team try to turn their form around with Milan currently 11th in Serie A.
