AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been banned for two matches for insulting a match official while his coach Massimiliano Allegri was fined 5,000-euros.

Boateng was sent-off in Milan's 3-2 win at Roma on Saturday night for lambasting a linesman, but only after he had already been substituted.

Later on Allegri was also dismissed for contesting a decision given against his team.

Ghana international Boateng will miss matches against Catania and Fiorentina.
