Young pens Dons deal extension

The 28-year-old is in his second spell with the Dons, having been signed by Jimmy Calderwood along with brother Darren when he was Dunfermline boss in 2003.[LNB]Young told the club's official website that he is happy with life at the Pittodrie club.[LNB]He quipped: "Jimmy has shown faith in me on several occasions now which is really pleasing although you'd think he would have learned from his mistakes![LNB]"I didn't have too much to think about when I got the offer and right now all I want to do is get back into the starting eleven and help get this club back into Europe next season.[LNB]"The new boys here are probably sick of the rest of telling them how good it was in the UEFA Cup last year but it was something special for everyone, in particular the fans, and something this squad is more than capable of repeating."[LNB]Young has started fourteen times for Aberdeen this season with four appearances from the bench and has scored once, to secure a point against Rangers at Pittodrie last August.[LNB][LNB] Aberdeen 4/7[LNB], Draw 11/4[LNB], Kilmarnock 11/2[LNB]
