Vujadinovic Set To Complete McGhee's Revolution
After the transfer window has slid gently closed, it's eight in and 10 out in McGhee's all-new squad. ABERDEEN are finalising the loan signing of Udinese defender Nikola Vujadinovic - completing the summer overhaul of the Dons squad. Serbian left-back Vujadinovic joined up with the Dons for a short trial last week, and AFC are currently wading through the red tape required to finalise the deal. The 24-year-old product of Red Star Belgrade's youth system played for a number of Eastern European clubs before moving to the Italian club for £800,000 in 2008. Now his loan deal is arranged pending a work permit, and Vujadinovic joins fellow latecomer Andreas Velicka at Pittodrie during the international break. The deadline week duo join new signings Paul Hartley, Rory McArdle, Yoann Folly, Scott Vernon, Josh Magennis and Mark Howard through the Pittodrie entrance to create a virtually all-new squad for 2010/11. Meanwhile, Richard Foster became the latest of 10 players to head out of Pittodrie this summer, albeit on a season-long loan at Rangers - we hope he's had his injections. With the Dons having a decent start to the season, it is now up to McGhee to quickly get the new players to gel and help banish any memory of last season's underachievers.
