Smith impresses Calderwood

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood is tipping Dan Smith to have a good campaign, after being impressed by the defender's attitude in pre-season training.
The 20-year-old struggled in his first season at Pittodrie following last summer's switch from Sunderland and made only four starts for the Dons.
But, after being linked with Yeovil Town and Darlington in the last few months, Smith now appears determined to rekindle his career with Calderwood's side.
The Aberdeen boss said: "We've seen a different Dan in pre-season than we did last season. He missed pre-season last year and it was difficult for him.
"There's been reported interest from Yeovil and Darlington in the kid, but he's returned as the Dan I saw playing at Sunderland.
"He was told at the end of last season he hadn't been good enough. But to be fair to the lad he's gone away and sorted himself out.
"I can see the difference in training. We never doubted his ability."
