SFA stay silent over McGhee incident

Furious supporters vented their fury at the Dons boss after watching their side crash out of the Scottish Cup to Raith Rovers on Tuesday night.[LNB]Gregory Tade claimed the only goal in the fifth-round replay at Pittodrie as the First Division outfit sealed a last-eight meeting with Dundee.[LNB]Afterwards, McGhee described the defeat as the worst of his career and revealed he had been spat on by fans as he made his way from the dug-out to the tunnel.[LNB]Referee David Somers' report has yet to arrive at the SFA and a complaint from Aberdeen appears unlikely after McGhee claimed he did not want an investigation.[LNB]McGhee said: "I don't want enquiries into who spat or threw bits of paper.[LNB]"We deserved it and I had a part to play. I'm not innocent just because I wasn't out there playing."[LNB]An SFA spokesperson said: "It would depend on the referee's report or whether the club makes a complaint. So far we have not heard anything."[LNB][LNB] Falkirk v Aberdeen. Click here to bet.
