Severin worry for Calderwood

Wednesday Aug 09 2006 15:31

Aberdeen midfielder Scott Severin is a doubt for Saturday's SPL clash with Motherwell after picking up a knee injury during Russell Anderson's testimonial.

The Scotland international only recently returned to action after recovering from knee surgery, but limped out of the 3-2 defeat against Everton at Pittodrie on Tuesday after taking a knock.

Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood does not think the new injury is serious, but fears Severin will not be able to line up at Fir Park at the weekend.

"The only good thing is, it is the other knee Seve has injured this time," Calderwood told the Evening Express.

"We will have the injury looked at today and we will just have to see how it goes for Saturday."
