Severin waits on Dons offer

Experienced midfielder Scott Severin is waiting on the offer of a new contract from Aberdeen.

The 29-year-old's current deal runs out next summer and the Dons have yet to begin serious negotiations over a new contract.

Severin's agent, Darren Jackson, told the Press & Journal: "There has not been a contract offer from Aberdeen yet.

"There are no talks scheduled, but I am sure they will take place sooner rather than later.

"There will be clubs who are looking at Scott, but we are not going to entertain those thoughts until after speaking to Aberdeen.

"If Scott decides to stay that will be the end of it, but if he decides he wants to go elsewhere then we will look at his options.

"I am not approaching any clubs and I am not inviting any approaches until we have spoken to Aberdeen."
