Scotland midfielder Scott Severin has rejected the offer of a new contract from Aberdeen.
The 26-year-old's current deal is scheduled to expire at the end of the campaign, but he wants to consider all his options before making a final decision about his long-term future.
An Aberdeen spokesman explained: "The contract has been turned down. We have now withdrawn our offer but he has not been put on the transfer list.
"The manager wants to get organised so he can prepare for next season."
Severin is set to return to first-team action for the Dons against Inverness on New Year's Eve after recovering from a broken foot.
