Dons striker Rory Fallon has been named William Hill Scottish Cup player of the round for the quarter-final stage.

The New Zealander scored twice against Motherwell last month, one a superb first-time volley, to secure a 2-1 win over Motherwell at Fir Park, and set up a Hampden semi-final with Hibernian.

Fallon claimed 56% of the public vote which took place on the competition’s official Facebook page.

Hearts forward Craig Beattie was ROFL's nearest challenger claiming 33% of the vote after his strike in the 2-2 draw with St Mirren.

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley finished in third place with 8% of the vote, while Hibs’ Irish striker Roy O’Donovan brought up the rear with 3% of votes cast.
