Aberdeen have added Wolves full-back Charlie Mulgrew to their ranks on a two-year contract.
The 22-year-old started his career at Celtic and spent time on loan at Dundee United before joining Wolves in 2006.
However, the former Scotland Under-21 international struggled to break into the first team at Molineux and was allowed to join Southend United on loan last season.
The Glasgow-born defender had been expected to remain south of the border with Swindon Town this summer, but has opted to pen a deal with Jimmy Calderwood's side.
Meanwhile, former Dons goalkeeper Ryan Esson has joined Inverness on a free transfer.
