Millers boss reveals Magennis miss

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has revealed United missed out on signing Josh Magennis after the striker decided to join SPL side Aberdeen.[LNB] The Northern Ireland international was released by Championship side Cardiff at the end of last season and Millers boss Ronnie Moore was close to agreeing a deal for the 19-year-old, which would have represented a massive coup for the League Two club.[LNB]But following interest from the Scottish outfit, Magennis agreed on a move to Pittodrie, leaving Moore's search for a new striker ongoing.[LNB]"We thought we had everything sorted but then Aberdeen came in and offered him silly money," Moore told the Star.[LNB]"He decided to go there but he would have been a wow signing for us at this level with his pace and strength.[LNB]"He would have been a great signing but you win some and lose some."
