Miller praises Dons applicants

Aberdeen's director of football, Willie Miller, has admitted to being surprised by the quality of the applicants to fill the vacant managerial post at Pittodrie.
The Dons are on the lookout for a new boss following Jimmy Calderwood's exit and are in no rush to make an appointment just yet.
Miller told the club's official website: "We've had applications from former international managers, former Scotland players, ex-international players from throughout Europe and people currently working in the Premier League.
"The high quality of applicant only underlines the fact this is one of the top jobs in Scottish football.
"Again I would emphasise that while we want to make an appointment as soon as possible, it is absolutely vital that we undertake all the due diligence required to ensure the appointment is the correct one for Aberdeen Football Club."
