Aberdeen's director of football, Willie Miller, has penned a new three-year deal with the club.
Head of operations, Duncan Fraser, has agreed a similar contract and been promoted to the post of managing director.
Chairman Stewart Milne told the Dons' official website. "The board is delighted that Willie and Duncan have both agreed to extend their stay here during what is a particularly challenging time for Aberdeen Football Club.
"Willie was central to persuading the two Jimmy's (Calderwood and Nicholl) to move to the north-east and his status in the game has been instrumental in helping attract the calibre of player we want at Aberdeen.
"Willie's role as director of football will continue to see him directly responsible to the board for the football department."
