Miller wants Dons starlets to sign

The quartet were all recently offered new and improved terms at Pittodrie, although none have yet put pen-to-paper and settled their long-term futures.[LNB]Miller hopes to have the youngsters' signatures secured by the end of the year and believes resolving their contracts takes precedence over more senior players.[LNB]The Dons chief knows the starlets are already attracting attention from elsewhere and wants to snuff out any chance of them moving on now and risk the club losing out for aiding their development.[LNB]"I want Pittodrie's four rising stars to stand up and show their commitment to the club now," explained Miller.[LNB]"This club has put a lot of time, money and effort into making Pawlett, Fyvie, Paton and Maguire the talents they are.[LNB]"Now we want some payback by getting them to show their commitment to the club.[LNB]"My main priority is to get these four tied up on new deals by the start of next year. That will take precedence over securing the more experienced first-team players.[LNB]"But I want to kill any chance of them moving on by getting them to commit their long-term futures to the Dons and I'm in talks with the four, their agents and their parents.[LNB]"No stone will be left unturned in the bid to get them to sign extended deals. But now they have to put something back into the club and opt to continue their development here.[LNB]"We have spent six years developing them, they just haven't appeared overnight. They are the result of a planned development programme and we aim to get our return on all that hard work.[LNB]"There are also a number of promising Under-19 players who I will be speaking to over the next month. The aim is to get them on long-term deals as well."[LNB][LNB]
