Miller happy to stick with McGhee

Aberdeen director of football Willie Miller has defended the decision to retain the services of boss Mark McGhee.[LNB] Two days of talks over McGhee's future took place last week following the 9-0 loss at Celtic and the 2-1 defeat to Inverness.[LNB]The Dons issued a statement following the discussions, opting to stick with McGhee.[LNB]A 2-0 loss to Rangers followed, leaving Aberdeen in 11th place in the SPL with four points out of a possible 33 from the last 11 games.[LNB]Miller admits there are concerns at Pittodrie, but that McGhee has the appetite to turn results around.[LNB]"We have problems and issues, but we've discussed it with the manager," Miller told the BBC.[LNB]"We had long and frank discussions with the manager to find out where he was and if he was still up for the fight.[LNB]"He certainly came over as still being as passionate as he was when he came to the club."
