McGhee taking nothing for granted

Recently Aberdeen came from behind to draw at Raith in the Scottish Cup then gain a decent point at Hibernian in the SPL, but their performance in the 4-4 draw agains Celtic on Saturday was the bst of the bunch.[LNB]That sets the Dons up nicely for Tuesday night's cup replay against Raith at Pittodrie but McGhee is wary of another false dawn.[LNB]"After the Dundee United and Hearts games in January I thought it was happening for us so I won't get ahead of myself," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"If we play eight or 10 games and produce the same sort of performance then I will start to think (the team has found consistency) but at the moment I will take nothing for granted.[LNB]"I'm going to be in the dressing room before the Raith game to do the best that I can to demand that same sort of performance.[LNB]"But I do think they have the bit between their teeth so I think they will start well."[LNB]Raith would be looking forward to a quarter-final clash with fellow First Division side Dundee if Aberdeen had not scored a 95th-minute goal at Starks Park to earn the replay.[LNB]McGhee, aware of the importance of a good cup run for the Pittodrie club, reiterated his belief that the game against Raith was more important than the visit of Celtic.[LNB]He said: "There may come games that take on a greater importance, whether they be further on in the cup or in getting into the top six or possibly getting a top four finish, or whatever.[LNB]"But so far this game against Raith is the most important, more than Saturday just past, regardless of what anybody else thinks.[LNB]"There is an incentive for us to get through to play Dundee and that has to be our focus."[LNB][LNB]
