The Dons were booed off after they exited the Active Nation Scottish Cup to Irn-Bru First Division side Raith Rovers on Tuesday night.[LNB]McGhee, who revealed he was spat on by a supporter as he walked back to the dressing room, believes his side must learn to win ugly.[LNB]He said: "We have lost against the likes of St Mirren, Falkirk, Motherwell and Raith Rovers already this season and what those teams have done is get stuck into us. They have been right in our faces and we have not coped with that.[LNB]"It has put us on the back foot and that is not good enough. On a night when we aren't going to play well we need to roll up our sleeves and win the battle and we didn't do that against Raith Rovers."[LNB]Raith joined Queen's Park, Queen of the South, Dunfermline and Dundee as lower league sides who have all knocked Aberdeen out of cup competitions in recent times.[LNB]McGhee says he intends to change his squad in a bid to bring success to Pittodrie after another humiliation.[LNB]He said: "If you were to draw up a list of criteria for a player such as pace, being good in the air, having a good shot or a certain type of character, some of them don't tick enough of the boxes. I need to get a better balance."[LNB]McGhee said he was not interested in involving the authorities to find the supporter who spat at him.[LNB]He added: "I'm prepared at this moment in time given how I felt about how bad it (Aberdeen's performance) was to accept it."[LNB]And while the Dons were left to rue another missed opportunity to end their dismal cup record, Rovers boss John McGlynn already had one eye on his side's quarter-final tie.[LNB]McGlynn's men will travel to Dens Park to face Dundee next month knowing victory will take them to the last four of the competition.[LNB]The Raith boss was relishing the prospect of the all-First Division tie.[LNB]He said: "We have had two good games against Dundee already this season. We respect Dundee as they have some great players, Leigh Griffiths and Gary Harkins in particular. They can win any game for them but we are not without a chance in that one.[LNB]"It is amazing to be in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup and hopefully we will have one or two players back by the time the match comes around."[LNB]Striker Gregory Tade, who scored the goal that sent Aberdeen crashing out, paid tribute to skipper Mark Campbell, who missed the match after being involved in a car accident on Monday.[LNB]He said: "This is a win we want to share with Mark and we will be going to the hospital to share this with him."[LNB]The Frenchman revealed the goal was the highlight of his career to date.[LNB]He added: "I have been waiting for a moment like this for all of my life. I hope I will be remembered for this. I am only 23 and have a few years ahead and I hope even bigger times are ahead for me."[LNB][LNB]
