Marshall keen to make Dons move

Marshall arrived for a trial with Mark McGhee's men on Monday and is keen to make the move in order to improve his chances of playing regular football.[LNB]"I want to sign for Aberdeen because it is virtually impossible to break into the City team with the kind of money the club is spending," the 19-year-old told the Evening Express.[LNB]McGhee is hopeful of an initial loan move and a permanent deal next summer.[LNB]He said on Monday: "I watched him playing for Manchester City reserves and I liked him."[LNB]Marshall, who has been on City's books since the age of 11, had loan spells at Blackpool and Port Vale last season but has yet to make his first-team debut for his parent club.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
