Maguire vows to stick with Dons

Maguire started his first Dons game since the opening day of the season in the 1-1 SPL draw at Kilmarnock almost two weeks ago. Despite starring for Scotland Under-21s this term, the 20-year-old has found game time at club level hard to come by since Aberdeen made a disastrous start to the season. Reports at the weekend suggested Maguire felt McGhee had made him the scapegoat for that. But the player told Red Matchday magazine: "I've never said I wanted to leave the club in January - and I made it clear I don't have any problems with the manager. "All I've said is that I want to start every game, which is all that any player wants. If I didn't feel like that, then the manager would think there was something wrong with me. "I know it's up to me to put myself in his plans, and that's what I'm looking to do over the next few weeks. It's as simple as that." Aberdeen 6/5, Draw 9/4, Hearts 12/5
