Magennis Inks New Aberdeen Deal

Dons striker/winger/goalkeeper/centre-back/right-back Josh Magennis has signed a year's contract with the club.

The likeable Ulsterman, whose enthusiasm and work ethic should be bottled and made compulsory when entering Pittodrie, put pen to paper in Aberdeen's broom cupboard on Friday.

The 21-year-old joined Aberdeen from Cardiff City as a striker two years ago, after starting his career as a goalkeeper.

However, pack-shuffling tombola-merchant Craig Brown, the Dons boss, has played 'Josher' at right-back in recent games, so Christ alone knows where he'll play during season 2012/13 - but it's going to be fun finding out.
