Mackie wins boss' praise

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood was pleased with Darren Mackie's attitude in the weekend win against St Mirren.
The 24-year-old striker was dropped to the substitute's bench for the game against the Buddies but responded by scoring two late goals in the Dons' 2-0 win.
Calderwood said: "All credit to Darren as it would have been easy for him to spit the dummy out like we have seen in so many cases before.
"But he has chosen to go the other way in being positive and he is a very popular member of the dressing room.
"It is not an easy decision to leave him out when everyone is fit, but when he can come on and change things like he did, then obviously that is great for us."
