Mackie delighted with Dons deal

The 27-year-old, who has scored 59 goals in 279 appearances for the Dons, has been at the club for his whole 10-year career aside from a brief loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.[LNB]Jimmy Calderwood revealed the vital goal the former Scotland Under-21 international scored against Dnipro in last season's UEFA Cup run is the highlight of the Aberdeen manager's time at the club.[LNB]"Darren is a wonderful lad to work with," Calderwood told the club website.[LNB]"He is Aberdeen through and through and this is great news for the club.[LNB]"You know what you are getting with Darren every game and the lad deserves it.[LNB]"No-one will ever forget his goal against Dnipro, which started the whole European run, the highlight of my time here."[LNB]Mackie added: "I am delighted.
