Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has confirmed that Jamie Langfield has been made available for transfer after breaking the club's disciplinary code.
The 27-year-old has recently been involved in three drunken incidents and Calderwood has finally lost patience with the shot-stopper.
"There were three lapses in the space of a short period after the season ended," admitted the Dons boss.
"After the last one, we decided to take the offer of a new contract for Jamie off the table.
"I don't expect anyone to live like a monk, but I do expect certain professional standards, particularly from a first-team player and Scotland squad member. The situation relates to behaviour and what I expect from my players."
