Klimpl keen on SPL return

Former Motherwell loanee Maros Klimpl is hoping to be given the chance to work with ex-Steelmen boss Mark McGhee at Aberdeen.
The 28-year-old Slovak has returned to parent club FC Midtjylland for the time being, but is keen on a return to the SPL.
He told the Daily Record: "I really enjoyed working with Mark at Motherwell. He is an excellent coach.
"At the moment I don't know where I will report for pre-season training next week.
"I'm still under contract in Denmark, but have been told by the club I will be allowed to leave, so that's no problem.
"What I can say right now is Aberdeen would be a great choice for me. For now, though, I'll just keep waiting for a phone call."
