Aberdeen have completed the signing of free agent midfielder Mark Kerr.
The 26-year-old former Dundee United player rejected the opportunity to move to England with an unnamed club to join the Dons.
Kerr signed a two-year deal with Jimmy Calderwood's side after passing a medical at Pittodrie on Monday.
"I was convinced we had lost out on getting him," admitted Calderwood.
"As soon as I knew there was still a chance I was pleasantly surprised to say the least and moved quickly to get things sorted out.
"He is just coming into his prime, so I'm really chuffed to have got him signed up."
