Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood admitted the 4-0 win over FC Copenhagen which confirmed their progression to the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup was the best night of his career.
Jamie Smith's brace added to a Richard Foster strike and Mikaal Antonsson own goal earned the Dons a convincing win at Pittodrie as they qualified in third place from Group B at the expense of Copenhagen.
"I said before it was the biggest game of my managerial career," admitted Calderwood.
"We all know the history of this great club and the lads have made their own bit.
"I'm so happy for the players because most of them have been together for three years and worked so hard to get here and deserved it.
"Copenhagen have won in Amsterdam, they beat Manchester United and Celtic (in the Champions League in recent seasons) and we have beaten them convincingly with a great performance."
