Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood is hoping to kick-start his summer transfer plans this month following a slow June at Pittodrie.
Calderwood has landed just midfielder Gary McDonald from Oldham Athletic on a free transfer since the end of the last campaign, while a host of senior players have left Pittodrie.
But despite admitting a need to bolster his squad, the Dons boss will not be rushed into signing new players.
"If you look all over the board, apart from the big, big clubs it's been slow," he said.
"There's not been a lot happening anywhere really.
"It's been very difficult but hopefully we can speed that up in the coming weeks."
