Barry Robson and Niall McGinn weren't risked for the League Cup tie in Falkirk, but both should be fit to face St Mirren. Aberdeen face the Saints in another live television fixture - two in a row for the Dons - on Monday night.

And Dons assistant boss Tony Docherty has confirmed that the injured pair are back in training and will be puching for inclusion in Derek McInnes's in-form line-up.

Docherty told RedTV: "Both Barry and Niall have a good chance of playing against St Mirren and will train today.

"They were just that little bit short for last night's game at Falkirk but in terms of their rehab, both are on track and actually a little bit ahead, so they will be considered for Monday night."
