Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has revealed that he is about to offer a new contract to Mark Kerr.

The Dons manager is also hoping to tie Gary McDonald and Richard Foster to longer Pittdrie deals.

He said: "Mark has settled well into the captain's role although he'd be the first to admit it was tough at first. He's sorted it out now and is looking more confident which is great.

"McDonald has been playing well while Foster has also been terrific in recent weeks."
