Hartley ruled out with hamstring strain

Aberdeen will be without captain Paul Hartley for up to three weeks after the midfielder sustained a hamstring injury on Wednesday evening.[LNB] The Dons skipper was substituted 15 minutes from time in the 3-2 Co-operative Insurance Cup third-round win over Raith at Pittodrie and will now miss Sunday's SPL clash with Rangers and the October 2 fixture at Inverness.[LNB]A statement on the club's official website read: "The hamstring injury sustained by Dons skipper Paul Hartley in last night's Co-operative Insurance Cup victory against Raith Rovers is not as bad as first feared.[LNB]"Paul went for a scan this morning and looks set to be sidelined for around two to three weeks.[LNB]"Unfortunately, this does mean Paul is likely to miss this weekend's clash against league leaders Rangers at Pittodrie."[LNB]
