Aberdeen will be without skipper Paul Hartley for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League visit of Rangers. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury in the Co-operative Insurance Cup win over Raith and will be out for three weeks. Sone Aluko (Achilles), Fraser Fyvie (knee) and Peter Pawlett (toe) remain on the sidelines while Andrius Velicka is ineligible but Michael Paton has recovered from illness and Andrew Considine is hoping to prove his fitness after a hip knock.
