Hartley Joins Interim Team

Aberdeen's interim management team will include Dons captain, as well as Neil Cooper and club legends Simmie and Willie Miller. ABERDEEN skipper Paul Hartley will join coaches Neil Cooper and Neil Simpson in caretaker charge of Aberdeen. Club legend, former gaffer and Director of Football Willie Miller will also take a more hands-on role as part of the interim team, but will remain in his current role. The club has had to move quickly following the sacking of the previous management team headed up by Mark McGhee, despite this weekend's SPL card being postponed. The club has not indicated how long the interim team will be in charge, but will surely be desperate to have a new permanent manager bedded in well before the Dons' trip to Hampden for the Co-Operative Insurance Cup semi-final in January. Many news reports are making Scotland Under-21 manager Billy Stark the early frontrunner in the race for the Dons job.   Subscribe to Updates Via Email | Recieve News Updates Via RSS Latest Topics From the Stand Free Message Board Click here to share your views with other Dons Fans
