The weather has once again wreaked havoc in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League as games at Aberdeen and St Johnstone were postponed on Friday morning.
Aberdeen were set to host Motherwell at Pittodrie, while Dundee United were set to travel to McDiarmid Park for the Tayside derby with Saints.
Rangers' meeting with St Mirren was postponed on Thursday due to significant water damage at Ibrox caused by the recent thaw after severe weather conditions.
Aberdeen confirmed on their website that their game was off as a result of "adverse weather conditions".
A statement from the SPL said: "The Aberdeen v Motherwell fixture scheduled for Saturday, December 18 has been postponed.
"The extreme weather conditions currently in the North East and its forecast continuance over the weekend led to police concerns about spectator safety travelling to and around Pittodrie Stadium.
"A new date will be announced in due course."
New Aberdeen boss Craig Brown was set to come against former club Motherwell in what would have been his first game in charge of the Dons.
