Aberdeen striker Darren Mackie faces a spell on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of a groin injury.
The 25-year-old missed the 3-1 weekend defeat at Rangers and Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood isn't sure when the frontman will be back in the fold.
He told the Press & Journal: "We still don't know how long Darren will be out for.
"He lasted less than a minute of the warm-up on Friday due to a pulled muscle in his groin and his movement was badly affected.
"I know it must be serious, as Darren is not a lad who sits out training."
Mackie has been restricted to 18 appearances for Aberdeen this season, scoring just once, in the 1-1 UEFA Cup draw away to Ukrainian side Dnipro.
In total, Mackie has netted 50 goals for the Pittodrie club in just under 250 outings in all competitions.
