Aberdeen left-back Richard Foster has penned a new two-year contract extension to keep him at Pittodrie until the summer of 2010.
The 22-year-old has been a first-team regular with the Dons for the last three seasons and is delighted to have secured an extended stay.
He told the club's official website: "It was really good last season to get a run in the team, so I could show the manager what I could do.
"I am looking forward to the new season. I know I am not guaranteed a regular game, but hopefully I will play my part in another successful campaign."
Foster has scored six goals in 119 appearances for the Dons to date.
