Duff desperate for Dons deal

Defender Stuart Duff is desperate to try and force his way back into the Aberdeen starting eleven and earn a new contract in the process.

The 27-year-old's current deal runs out next summer and Duff is determined to try and extend his stay at Pottodrie.

He told the Daily Record: "I have to fight to earn a new deal and I aim to do that.

"There is no way I want to leave with any regrets at the end of the season, wondering what might have been had I not worked harder.

"I will give everything for the team until then, but ultimately it is up to the boss whether he decides to keep me or not.

"All I can do is focus on getting into the team regularly and when I do get my chance I have to take it."
