Dons vow to keep Diamond

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has confirmed that he turned down bids for highly-rated defender Zander Diamondlast month.

The 21-year-old has already made more than 100 appearances for the Dons and has been a first-team regular this term.

"There were offers for Zander during the last transfer window but I didn't want to sell him," said Calderwood.

"I told him there wasn't a hope in hell he'd be going. He'll be here after the summer and hopefully well beyond that."
