Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood says he is likely to stick with Ryan Esson for the weekend clash with Dunfermline Athletic, despite the return to fitness of David Preece.
Esson has impressed in goals since taking over from the injured Preece and Calderwood thinks he has done enough to keep the jersey for the time being.
He told the Evening Express: "Ryan has had a taste of it in the first team and won't want to give it up easily.
"It would be unfair on Ryan to take David straight back into the side.
"Ryan's attitude has been spot on, so he is the man in charge at the moment."
