Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood has eyes on at least six summer recruits to push his side back into the upper echelons of the SPL table.
The Dons are currently eighth in the standings and Calderwood wants to avoid a repeat of this season's struggles.
He told the Evening Express: "I'm not planning to spend the next campaign floating about in seventh or eighth place hoping we make the top six again.
"This season isn't finished yet, but we are already well down the road to making what I would describe as significant signings.
"The actual amount who come in will obviously depend on who leaves and what happens with our loan players.
"But I would think you could see at least six new faces good enough to go straight into the first-team squad."
