Dons facing Miller absence

Aberdeen striker Lee Miller could be missing for a couple of weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw with St Mirren.

The 25-year-old Scotland international had to be replaced shortly before half-time against the Buddies, with his replacement, Tommy Wright, netting a last-gasp equaliser.

Wright told the Press & Journal: "Everyone feels disappointed for Lee Miller. He is a big player for us and I wish him all the best.

"Hopefully he will be fit for the weekend, but if not I am ready to fill his boots.

"I think I took my chance reasonably well and the goal will give me a lot of confidence.

"I have now scored three goals in three games after scoring against East Fife and for the reserves last week, so, hopefully, this purple patch can continue."
