Dons departure for Touzani

Defender Karim Touzani has left Aberdeen after securing a return to the Netherlands with Sparta Rotterdam.

The former Ajax youngster has agreed a three-year contract with the Eredivisie side after an injury-plagued spell with the Dons.

The 27-year-old made just 25 first-team appearances during two seasons at Pittodrie.

"Everyone at Pittodrie would like to wish Karim all the best for the future," read a statement on the club's official website.
