Dons boss threatens axe

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has threatened to wield the axe among his squad if they fail to learn from their recent mistakes.
Calderwood was furious that the Dons failed to reach the final of the CIS Cup in midweek after losing 4-1 in embarrassing fashion to Dundee United.
Aberdeen return to league action with a difficult trip to Celtic on Sunday.
"You just keep trying to hammer it into them and eventually if they don't learn, as soon as their contracts are up then they'll be away," fumed Calderwood.
"The players got told a few home truths on Tuesday evening and they got told a few home truths at training as well, so we'll see how they react on Sunday.
"It's happened too many times this season and we've set very high standards at the club."
