Dons boss eyes progress

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood was pleased to have avoided a glamour tie with Bayern Munich in the group stage of the UEFA Cup.
The Dons still face a tough test to try and reach the last 32 of the competition, having been drawn in Group B with Panathinaikos, Lokomotiv Moscow, Atletico Madrid and FC Copenhagen.
Calderwood told the Press & Journal: "People keep saying Bayern Munich, but that's the last name I want to hear.
"Bayern are the biggest side in the tournament and favourites to win it. From the supporters' point of view I understand why they want to play them, but I'd rather play them later in the tournament.
"Whoever we get, I hope we can give a good account of ourselves and get some good results, as it can only help the country's coefficient.
"We've shown we can defend, which we'll have to do again in the group games, but we want to do more than settle for reaching the group stage.
"Three teams go through and the next target is to be in one of those places."
