The first of what is expected to be a Generation Game conveyor belt's-worth of trialists arrive at Pittodrie on the first day of pre-season training. ABERDEEN have two new faces at pre-season training, as Conor Okus and Ryan Jones arrived at the club on trial. Anglo-Nigerian Okus, 18, is a powerful midfielder who has been released by Premiership club West Ham United. The goalscoring midfielder had a difficult time with injuries during the season, having been invited to train with the first-team squad by manager Gianfranco Zola last summer. Okus, whose favourite player of all time is Nigeria legend Jay Jay Okocha, scored twice in nine appearances at Under-18 level in 2009/10. Goalkeeper Ryan Jones was released by Leeds at the end of his second year as an apprentice. The 18-year-old product of the Liverpool Academy moved to Wigan and then Leeds, where he featured on the bench for a number of times last season before being released.
