Dons hand trials to trio
Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has handed trials to three players as he steps up his attempts to strengthen his squad.[LNB] Cameroon striker Patrick Bengondo, 29, and 21-year-old defender Jason Beardsley - a graduate of the Derby County youth academy - were at Pittodrie today.[LNB]They were joined by goalkeeper Matthew Jones, 25, who came through the soccer college system in the United States before spending the last two seasons with Portuguese side Santa Clara.[LNB]
