Dons Boxing Day Game On
Aberdeen's Christmas fixture against Hibs in Edinburgh will go ahead as planned. ABERDEEN'S game at Easter Road will go ahead this weekend despite reports to the contrary from some news sources this morning. A statement on the SPL website was posted to clarify the situation regarding the match against fellow underachievers Hibs on December 26th. The statement said: "Following inaccurate reports this morning that the Hibernian v Aberdeen game on Boxing Day is under threat, we can confirm that this game will go ahead as scheduled, unless there is a serious deterioration in the conditions around Easter Road Stadium over the next few days – which we are not expecting and is not forecast."
