Calderwood hails tired Dons

Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood was relieved to take three points from Sunday's SPL clash with St Mirren after admitting that a hectic recent schedule has left his players looking tired.
The Dons were flattered by the 4-0 final scoreline against Gus MacPherson's struggling side, but Calderwood thought it was a good result considering his team's midweek UEFA Cup exploits.
He said: "The result was very pleasing and we know we can play better but it was our sixth game in 17 days.
"It feels a lot better when you can go away having won and then when you come back there's everything to play for.
"I'm delighted there's now a break and I think you can see the players need it because there was some sloppy passing and then they start getting tired mentally.
"So I don't mind not seeing them for a while and I'm sure they feel the same."
