Diamond will see a surgeon on Tuesday after aggravating an ankle problem during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Celtic. He is highly unlikely to feature in any of the remaining five games of the campaign. "It certainly is a blow," Calderwood told RedTV. "You want all your best players fit. But that's football, you just have to get on with it." Jamie Smith and Derek Young are expected to be out of action for two to three weeks, while Lee Miller is suspended for the visit of Celtic in the first game after the league split. Meanwhile, the Scottish Premier League have switched the Dons' visit to Dundee United from May 9 to May 7 to avoid a city clash with Dundee. The meeting with Hearts at Pittodrie will also be played a day earlier on May 12 at the request of both clubs.
